Supported applications

Due to the growing number of supported apps in Forensic, we have introduced a dynamic online database where you can easily find any currently supported app, what kind of data you can expect to find in each app, and even make requests for new support of any app.

The database of the supported apps is available at https://apps.mobiledit.com/.

Extraction Types

After click at the “i” info button, you will find what approach or method is necessary to use to extract all supported data from the application. If other methods are used then it may still be possible to get “some” data from the application although, it may be limited to shared data like media which can stored outside the application sandbox.

Example: Android

Example: iOS

Within the online app database, you can directly request support for any application to be added to the list of supported apps or, report that app analysis for a particular app is no longer working.

More information on how to request MOBILedit Forensic to support an app is available here.
