Educational license activation
Welcome to the user guide for MOBILedit Forensic! This guide will walk you through the process of activating and installing MOBILedit Forensic for educational purposes.
By following these step-by-step instructions, you'll be able to register in the User Portal, download the MOBILedit Forensic, install it on your students' computers, and activate it using the provided license key.
Additionally, as the registered professor, you will serve as the main point of contact for any support needs.
Please follow the instructions below:
User Portal Registration:
To begin, only the professor should register in the User Portal. Please visit https://forensic.manuals.mobiledit.com/MM/how-to-register-to-mobiledit-user-portal and follow the instructions provided.
Software Download:
Once registered, navigate to the User Portal.
Locate the "Downloads" section.
Find the software package you need and click on "Download."
Save the downloaded software package to a portable storage device, such as a USB drive.
Installation on Students' Computers:
Do not provide the USB drive with the installation package directly to students.
Meet with each student individually and insert the USB drive containing the software.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software on each student's computer.
During installation, you may be prompted to accept the license agreement, choose the installation location, and configure additional settings if necessary.
After installation is complete, remove the USB drive from the student's computer.
Activation on Students' Computers:
Instruct each student to launch the MOBILedit Forensic on their computer.
They will be prompted to enter a license key.
Enter the provided license key to activate the software.
Ensure the license key is entered correctly to successfully activate the software on the student's computer.

Inform your students that you will be their main point of contact for support regarding software installation and any related issues.
